The SmartSys™ Suite has been designed to meet customer production needs for simplification of screens, modular job set up capabilities, strong diagnostics capabilities, strong reporting capabilities and ongoing security requirements. The SmartSys™ Machine Control Software core serves as the underlying framework for connecting to other applications and business functions, now and in the future, allowing organizations to identify exact production costs, quantify production margins and allow their business to more accurately predict customer cost and profitability. The SmartSys™ Suite consists of the following additional capabilities and applications which add value along the entire chain:

SmartSys Productivity Monitor™ is a base SmartSys application included in the SmartSys Suite. The core function of this module is to track general daily operational information and shift efficiency and productivity. There are three major areas of data capture which include machine, shift and batch run data that is viewable on screen via a standard interface. Productivity Monitor is architected so it can be modified without the need to impact any of the core MCS operational software.

SmartSys JDM™ (Job Definition Manager) is the application that is used to design card layouts and configure production file settings. SmartSys JDM™ is designed as a modular component that can be installed with the MCS application or on a separate computer where it can be used by the appropriate technical personnel. A job definition consists of the CardLayout, definition of where things will go on the card, and the File Setup which defines the production file characteristics.

SmartSys Enhanced Reporting is a robust production reporting system that relies on a relational database that can be queried, connected to and used as the data repository for an interface to a variety of reporting engines. The data can be stored, off-loaded or queried for up to 12 months. SmartSys Performance Manager is designed to enable a range of reporting and data management interfaces allowing an organization to provide the right data at the right time to the right people.

SmartSys CA™ is the central component that ensures compliance to MasterCard™, VISA™ Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) requirements and current PCI standards. This component is required for all financial machine implementations. The SmartSys CA provides two distinct and important roles in fulfilling these requirements: Establishes certificates used for securing the environment; Manual file encryption (Optional). These capabilities are a critical factor to the SmartSys approach of adding components or functions without having to make significant changes to the core application.
