Magnetic Stripe Encoder CPE HiCo / LoCo DualCo Magnetic Encoder Card Personalization Element;
Several different encoding types are offered such as, 300 & 2750 Dualco and 600 Oe (for JIS A, B, C options). Other coercivity values may be available on a special order basis for an additional charge. Multiple encoder CPE’s can be installed for user flexibility. A data driven function is also available to determine encoder coercivity. In this case the customer needs to have a field in the data file that will select the appropriate coercivity for the card being produced. The data driven commands override the selections in the Horizon print driver. This feature gives customers the ability to run different types of cards with different coercivity magnetic stripes in a single production run. When the system encounters an encoder reject, it can be set either to stop the machine and ask for operator intervention or to automatically reject and remake the bad card.
