Embosser CPE

Embosser CPE Based on your requirements of optimum throughput rate, your Horizon™ System is configured with two (2) embossers. It is also possible to configure the system with optional front and rear indent as the 110-position wheel allows for inclusion of all character sets required by MasterCard and Visa. The SmartSys Machine Control Software that comes with your system automatically allocates utilization of the embossers for optimal throughput. Initial characters (OCR 0-9, Simplex A-Z, 0-9, and punctuation) are included in your system price. The Horizon™ can support up to 3 separate embossers. Two wheel configurations are offered, 110 positions (pockets) which is standard, and an optional 100-position wheel if needed for the Japanese market. The embosser CPE is delivered with whatever standard Advantage typesets the customer desires at no additional charge. Many different characters, sizes and types are carried by NBS Technologies although custom characters can be ordered. Indenters can also be added as an option. If multiple embossers are used, the software will divide the work among the embosser CPEs to even the workload and therefore optimize throughput (as long as the wheels have the same typesets installed). The software will divide work by fields/lines as well as at blank spaces within a field (i.e., the spaces in a typical account number). Throughput is dependent on the number of embossers, the number of characters and whether the characters are embossed or indented.
